Students seeking Associate in Arts degree must complete a minimum of 62 semester hours of university-tranfer courses in degree plans approved by advisers. Developmental courses do not count toward degree requirements.

Student may substitue requirements for Associate in Arts Degree with permission from Division Chair. The maximum transfer hours allowed are 62 total credits. Excess of 62 hours will be considered as general electives or consult catalog of institution where transfer is desired.
All classes are not offered every semester. Take when available.
Due to Core Curriculum requirements you may be required to attend summer classes or an additional semester. A maximum of 9 hours may be transfered back from another institution in order to receive your AA from Coastal Bend College.
