Prerequisite: ARTS 1311 and 1316, or instructor approval. Development of individual directions and exploration of various techniques in warm and hot glass exploration. Basic techniques of off-hand glass blowing and lampworking. Credit will not be given for more than one of ARTS 2371 and ARTS 2373.
ARTS 2372 Painting - Specialized Problems (5007085230) 3-3
Prerequisite: ARTS 2316, or instructor approval. An exploration of painting media with emphasis on individual expression and specialized problems.
ARTS 2373 Computer Art (5007035330) 3-2
Prerequisite: ARTS 1311 and 1316, or instructor approval. An introductory course in computer-aided art. Design and graphic applications using the computer, plotter, and the menu tablet to produce finished works of art. Credit will not given for more than one of ARTS 2371 and 2373.
ARTS 2389 Cooperative in Art (2401035230) 0-7
An instructional program designed to integrate on-campus study with practical hands-on work experience in art. In conjunction with work experience, the student will set specific goals and objectives in the study of art. Credit will be given for only one cooperative course (2389).
